My most prized possession is my camera! I don't think I could live without it. In fact I have two cameras. One amazing camera and then one good digital. While they are great cameras I would be happy with just a simple camera. As long as I can take pictures I'm a pretty happy girl.
Thanks again to all that have left comments. It was fun reading about your first memories. So what is your most prized possession?

My couch. It's deep red micro-suede, with a queen hide-a-bed, and it has a matching love seat and 6x9 ft. rug. I bought it all a year ago to christen our first apartment together. They were a last minute purchases because I realized we had no living room furniture (at least, I wasn't allowing our new grown-up apartment to be filled with the old raggety crap hand-me-downs we'd had thus far!) I timed it all to be delivered the day before the move, and luckily my mom was on summer break from teaching, so she let the movers in. I was thrilled to walk into the apartment the morning of the move to my new living room furniture waiting for me. It's so comfy and pretty and I love it! My first big grown-up purchase. :-)
hmmm...as strange as it sounds, my most prized possession is a rock. It's a piece of goethite (iron) crystal, about the size of a large marble, but it's formed into a 3-dimensional cross shape - more like a 3D plus-sign actually (+). I have about 5 or 6 of these and I've heard they're quite rare. I got into the rock collecting hobby years ago, and would spend days on end out hunting for rocks with just my little puppydog for company. (I'll try to keep this story short) I'd gotten into a real depression, and one day while sitting in the middle of a dried up creek bed I'd even given up hope of ever even finding a rock worth picking up or pursuing any kind of interests etc., when all of a sudden I looked over to my left, and almost like magic that little iron cross just kind of "unblurred" into view. I couldn't believe it when I picked it up! I've never personally seen any others like the ones I found there, and as I said, from what I've been able to find out they are extremely rare.....
If anybody ever wants to see what they look like just let me know, I've got some pics online at on old, abandoned website of mine.
I'll have to start visiting here more often - I didn't think you were still around, and I didn't know you had this new blog!!! Hope everything is going well for you.....
My most prized possession? Most the things that I have, are things needed. I have few things for enjoyment, besides music and movies and the computer. But I would have to say it is my son's cremation tag. I know seems morbid, but it is all I have of his.
My dog...although she would probably object to being called a "possession".
My most prized possession is my 200-CD jukebox CD player. I love music and I have a fantastic CD collection. There is nothing more theraputic than laying on the couch and listening to The Marshall Tucker Band, Eric Clapton, The Allman Brothers Band, Tom Petty, ABBA, the Bee Gees, Hootie and the Blowfish, the Spinners, Rod Stewart, AC/DC, Queen, Elton John, the Eagles, and Johnny Cash back-to-back.
Amiable brief and this post helped me alot in my college assignement. Thank you as your information.
