Are You Done With Christmas

I believe that today was my last Christmas for this year. I think that I'm almost done with this holiday. We have managed to drag it out long enough I suppose. Today was Christmas with my mom's side of the family. It was a great time! We opened gifts, ate way to much WONDERFUL food and played games. We played Mad Gab! I had never played this before and it was soooo much fun. You must play it. We laughed so hard. It really was a wonderful time. I just love my family.

So are you done with Christmas?

Who Was Executed

Well Saddam Hussein of course. I have to tell you that I'm glad he is gone. No more of his evil ways. That's what the optimistic me wants to believe. But unfortunately his evil won't die with him. There are others out there that will simply step in and carry on his ways. But I do find some relief in the fact that he himself has been punished for his crimes. There is no way that he will personally hurt anyone else again. I'm amazed at how quickly the execution was carried out. The wheel of justice moves quickly there. If he was in the US he would have died on death row. So at least it is over and done with. For some reason though a part of me is a little saddened but the whole deal. I think it's just the idea that someone can do the kinds of things he has done and still even death isn't really enough of a punishment. It seems so easy. His pain was brief... Odd I guess....

What do you all think?

Did You Enjoy The Carnival

I did enjoy the carnival. In fact I enjoyed it a whole lot! It was so nice to get so many visitors, have so many comments, and get to visit so many other blogs. Everybody has a different kind of family but after visiting all the blogs and reading each family post it's obvious that we have a lot in common too. So I hope that you all enjoyed the carnival as much as I did!

So did you enjoy it?

Who Sold A House

I sold a house! How exciting is that!!! Now I only own one home instead of two. That's a good thing. Today was the closing on my old house so we are done and I have a check in my hot little hand. Buying that little house was such an awesome experience for me. I loved it. It was a great home. And I will miss it like crazy. What's amazing to me is that I bought it to just have a home. That's what I wanted. A safe little house just for me. But really it turned into a great investment. While I hadn't planned on selling it so soon and while I'm still a little sad about that I'm so grateful that I was able to make some money going through the process. If you are considering buying a home I would strongly encourage it. The security and financial benefits are worth it. This site explains better than I can some of the benefits of buying a home. So take the time to check out Doraville Homeownership.

So have you sold a house?

Bestest Blog Carnival 1.2

Welcome to the second edition of the Bestest Blog Carnival. I really appreciate Bobby giving me the opportunity to serve as your host. I've never hosted a carnival before and it's been a learning experience. I have really enjoyed getting to read about so many different types of families. Bobby made a great choice on the topic this time around.

The third edition of The Bestest Blog Carnival will take place on January 4th! The carnival will be hosted by Dr. Blogstein. The theme this time around will be Your Funniest Post of 2006. Make sure you get your submissions in no later than January 2nd at 11:59 p.m.

I am a firm believer that it takes a wide variety of people, beliefs, traditions, and responsibilities to make a family. All of your posts solidified that belief for me. Each of you have such different families yet all of them are equally wonderful, strong, funny, and unique! So I hope you enjoy learning about one another as much as I have enjoyed learning about you!

As you visit one another make sure to leave comments and let everyone know you are visiting via The Bestest Carnival of All Time! Happy Blogging!

Who Has Gone To A Red Sox Game

I have gone to a Red Sox game. In fact I like the Red Sox quite a bit. I even have a Red Sox hat. I'm cool like that. But chances are I won't be back go Boston anytime soon so that means no games for me. But I could go to a spring training game if I could get Red Sox Spring Training Tickets. The spring training games are in Flordia and I like Flordia. In fact Flordia this time of year would be WONDERFUL. Some sun, some time at the beach, and a good old Red Sox game! Maybe I could even wear my super cool Red Sox hat! Now that would be way fun!!!

So have you gone to a Red Sox Game?

Who Is Stressing

I'm stressing out a little bit. I'm having some computer problems and I only have a little while before I'm supposed to post the Bestest Blog Carnival. I'm actually freaking out quite a bit! I know it will be fine. Everything is gonna work out and I'm not gonna screw this up. It will be fine, it will be fine. I'm gonna keep repeating that until midnight okay!

So are any of you stressing...

How Was Your Christmas

My Christmas was a bit of a roller coaster. Much like my everyday life I suppose. I had a good time with my Aunt Betty and Heather. I'm so glad I had the chance to spend the day with them. We had a great non-traditional Christmas dinner. My Aunt Betty's famous Chicken Enchilada's hit the spot. And we had a good time opening gifts. We all got some neat things. And we watched A Christmas Story on TV. I had never seen that movie all the way thru before so that was good. So the majority of the day was very good.

Then there was the fact that I wasn't feeling so great, not nearly as yucky as I felt on Christmas Eve but still not at my best. Then there was the big fact that my mom is missing. A holiday without her is so incredibly wrong. She was the holiday queen! And then I had to go do the final walk-thru and cleaning on my old house. I close on it tomorrow. So no mom and saying good-bye to my little house that I love was a bit much for one day... Just a tad overwhelming and sad to me.

So how was your Christmas?

Are You Having Guests To Your House For The Holiday

I am having some guests to my house! My lovely sister (who isn't officially a guest) arrived this afternoon. I picked her up at the airport, she stayed longer in Texas than I did. So now that she is here I'm ready for the holiday to begin! I love that girl!!!

My Aunt Betty is coming to my house tomorrow. It will be nice to have her here for Christmas. I'm ready for that. And I have some friends that have moved out of town but are back for Christmas that will be stopping by throughout the weekend. So it should be great to see everyone. Visiting with my family and friends is my favorite part of any and all holidays!

So are you having guests to your house?

How Do You Feel About Online Dating?

****************This is a paid post*************************

In all honesty online dating has always scared me a little bit. There is the safety factor, is this guy gonna kill me, rape me, steal my identity... Okay so that's a little over the top but it scared me. Then their is the annoyance factor. Is this guy gonna tell lame jokes, be rude to the waitress, or wear a pocket protector. You just never really know what you are getting into and how long it will take you to get out. But now the site Iamfreetonight.com allows you the opportunity to have a wingman. No more sitting there alone trying to figure out how to get away from the weird guy. You take a friend or set up group dates. You can also select a day that you are free and schedule a date with the Date Now feature. The best part is that all the features are FREE! Now that takes some of the fear out of online dating doesn't it.

So how do you feel about online dating?

What Is Your Favorite Instrument

I love the piano. I can't play the piano but I'm fascinated by people that can. I always wanted to learn to play the piano when I was a kid. But my dad always said my fingers were to short and fat to play the piano. So I've decided that I'm going to take piano lessons now. Well not now as in tonight but now as in soon. I know a lady that teaches piano. Mainly she teaches kids but she says she will give me lessons. I think it would be cool to learn to play. So that's going to be my Christmas gift to myself.

So what is your favorite instrument and can you play it?

What Do You Think About Credit Cards

*********************Paid Post *****************************

I'm a bit frustrated by the credit card game at this point. I'm in the process of paying off my credit cards. I was lucky enough to find 0% credit cards to consolidate my debt onto. Now I just make two payments a month to knock out the debt without the interest rates eating me alive. So I'm grateful that I found those! They are saving me a small fortune. I am however always looking for credit card news that would give me a great solution to paying the debt off fast! Any credit card advice is always welcome so if you have any leave me a comment. I want to get rid of these pesky things as quick as possible!

Do You Like The Beach

I don't usually like the beach. It seems like a dirty place to me. I know that trash gets dumped in the water and you know there are some people peeing in the ocean. That's not cool. So I don't particularly like to get in the water or hang out at the beach. But today it wasn't too bad. I didn't freak out about the dirty water. I actually got my feet wet! Amazing I know.

So do you like the beach?

Who Needs A Christmas Card

***********Paid Post *********************

I may be needing to send some last minute Christmas cards. If I end up sending anymore they will be one of these very ecards. They have a top ten list of the ten funniest free Christmas cards. Some of them are pretty dang funny! My favorite one was pretty out there (imagine that). It is of these white women trying to do a Christmas rap. At one point there is a line about Rudoloph peeing. Who would think that would make it into a card. But it made me laugh! There is also a drunken santa ecard that I actually got from my officemate Becki the other day. She thought it was pretty funny. So if you need a card and a little off color humor pick one of the funny ten.

Jessie

Who Is Going Out Of Town

I'm going to be heading to Texas early tomorrow morning. I will be celebrating an early Christmas with my Dad and Stepmom on the beach! Well we might have Christmas in the house but then we are going to the beach. It's supposed to be wonderful weather so I'm very ready to get there and start having a great time. Since I will be vacationing I don't know if I'll be posting questions. I may but then again I may not. It all depends on how free time I have. So that's a heads up that I might not be around for awhile.

Would You Want To Work From Home

I would love to work from home! There are times that I work from home rather than go to the office and I get so much stuff done. It's much calmer here and I'm more focused then I ever am at our loud crazy office building. That and I love the idea of being able to work in my pajamas if I want too. That would be a nice perk. The only thing really stopping me from working at home is that I haven't found the right work at home business opportunity for me. Someday I would like to have my own social work practice out of my house. Granted I couldn't do therapy in my pj's but it would be nice to set my own schedule and be in my own surroundings.

So would you want to work from home?

What Do You Really Want For Christmas

I would really like a new printer or an MP3 player for Christmas. There are also a couple of books that I would like to have. I've put my wish list out there. My sister and step mom have been advised so I'm sure I'll end up with some great things.

So what do you really want for Christmas?

Did You Watch The Biggest Loser Final

I did watch the finale of The Biggest Loser! I love that show. And I was really happy to see Erik win. The guy lost 214 pounds! That is amazing to me. I can't imagine losing that much weight. He looked so different. I thought he looked way younger. I can't imagine how different he must feel. It's a big deal to lose 20 or 30 pounds. 214 pounds would be so hard to wrap your mind around.

So did you watch The Biggest Loser Final?

Have You Seen It

*******************Pay Per Post Ad ***************************

I have seen episode three of RockStartup and I loved it. Who knew that Pay Per Post could make reality tv look so good. This episode shows the stress and success of the recent Pay Per Post move. Ted and the gang packed everything up and headed to some new very cool offices. I love the bright fun colors of their new place. Happy colors make for happy employees. Good move on the brightness Ted! Seriously though Mr. Ted is just setting himself up for a heart attack. He is looking a bit stressed and a bit tired. Moving is always stressful but moving a whole company is a bit much. I hope he can hang in there.

So have you seen episode three of RockStartup?

What Is Your Favorite Type Of Exercise

Well my favorite type of exercise is actually NONE! If only I could get away with that. So since that doesn't work for me and I just have to move in someway my favorite workout is ZUMBA! I just started doing Zumba a couple months ago and it is way fun. It's a mix of all different types of dances and it doesn't feel like a punishment like a lot of other workouts I've done. I really enjoy it and the time flies when I'm Zumbaing!

I knew I liked to Zumba but I didn't realize just how much till last night. I had to miss like two weeks of Zumba because I was out of town a couple times and then they had some schedule changes since the instructor was sick. So I finally got to go back last night after a long break and I feel AWESOME today. I have so much energy and I'm still happy from all the fun music. So it's totally worth it.

What is your favorite type of exercise?

Who Had A Date Today

I had a date today! It was a pretty good date too. We will call the date guy "T". T was a very nice guy. He was funny and smart and enough in control of the situation that I felt comfortable but not like he was too controlling. It was a good balance. He got my jokes and asked appropriate questions. Enjoyable I say! Good times.

So did you have a date today?

Do You Want $15

**************Pay Per Post Ad*********************
I want $15.00! And right now Pay Per Post is offering $15.00 for each new person that joins Pay Per Post and is referred by me! I have signed up for the Pay Per Post affiliate program. So if you just click that cute little affiliate button on the right you can sign up too. You just need to have a blog that is at least 90 days old and has a minimum of 20 posts. The reasons they have those requirements are so people don't create a blog just to make blog money. I have really enjoyed doing Pay Per Post. I love the fact that I can pick the ads I want to take. If I don't like a product, company, or service I will not take the ad. If I do like it I post about it. In a little less than 2 months I have made right around $190.00 and I have another $370.00 coming to me in the next 30 days. So if you decide to click the cute PayPerPost affiliate button you can make some mad money and heck I can make $15! So get to clicking!!!

Thanks

Hey my lovely readers-

Between the two blogs I've made a lot of new blogging friends and have really come to find the blogging fun! With this blog it is really fun for me to have the interaction and feedback from all of you. So please anytime feel free to leave a question and I will answer it at some point. I usually do those questions on Sunday's but I can mix it up and throw them in at any time. So feel free.

Thanks again!

What Family Tradition Do You Have

Our family has quite a few fun traditions. One of my favorite traditions is our annual Girl's Christmas Gathering. All of my female relatives, aunts, sisters, cousins, etc. get together for the 2nd weekend in December. We shop, eat, Christmas carol, and just have a really fun time. It's a nice way to get ready for Christmas. We always have a wonderful time.

I just got home from this year's gathering and it was WONDERFUL as usual! So to my girl's that are reading this thanks for another great tradition of fun.

What Are You Grateful For

I'm so very grateful that my brother-in-law Brian is home from Iraq! I'm so proud of him and the other troops. I'm also really proud of his wife Venus and their two children Dalton and Morghan. They made a big sacrafice this year. They loaned their daddy and husband to the world. And thankfully he came home to them safe and sound. Welcome home HERO!!!!

I'm thinking that I should celebrate this post! This is post #100 for me!! I'm pretty psyched. That is a lot of questions folks. We have done good. Asking, answering, learning a little bit about ourselves and other people. Heck I know some fun stuff about you blogging buddies!

What Do You Think Of Keylogging

*************Pay Per Post Ad **************************

I've got to tell ya that keylogging makes this girl a little bit nervous inside! I think that it is great for parents. That way they can monitor what their children are doing on the internet. I'm all for safety online and keeping the kids safe! That is a big priority. But I would be in a world of hurt if they used keylogging at my office. Granted I'm not visiting any naked girl sites or anything crazy like that. But I've been known to do a little surfing of the net during work hours. And I know that isn't exactly the best thing to do as an employee. I have a slight addiction to CNN.com though and I tend to check it every couple hours. So if they used the keylogging for monitoring our internet usage at work I might be in a little hot water. But if I was the boss I would probably want to use it. That way I could bust the little CNN junkies like me and make them get back to work. So I can see both sides of it.

What do you think of Keylogging?

Can You Keep A Secret

I'm pretty good at keeping a secret. Well most of the time. It depends on who is asking. I really can't keep secrets from my sister Heather or my best friend Darby. I just can't and I don't even try! But I can keep secrets from just about anyone else. With that said I will tell you that I don't like secrets. I usually tell people not to tell me if they want it to be secret. If everyone can't know I don't really want a part of it. But that's just me. I'm pretty open so I kinda have the expectation that other people should be too.

So can you keep a secret?

What Is Driving You Nuts Right Now

My car stereo is driving me nuts right now! For some reason it doesn't light up anymore. I know what your thinking. You don't need a stereo that lights up you need a stereo that plays music. Well you are partially right. If it doesn't light up you don't know what time it is. That is a bit of a problem. But if it doesn't light up you don't know what station you are on. That is a big problem. It's a really big problem when you need to change the frequency so you can get better reception on your XM. So you change the frequency on the XM but then you can't see to change the frequency on the radio and it takes forever and you miss half of your favorite song. That's when you become nuts! Just a little glimpse into my world today. It's not pretty folks!!!

So what is driving you nuts right now?

Do You Send Christmas Cards

I do send Christmas Cards. I like to send them. Mainly because I love to get them! I love happy mail. My favorite part about Christmas is that from the start of December it seems like I get happy mail everyday. The happy mail overrides the bills. And that gives me the Christmas spirit. This year Heather and I did picture Christmas cards. I think they turned out cute. They are ready to be mailed on Monday.

Do you send Christmas Cards?

Also if you have a question feel free to leave it in the comments and I'll answer it tomorrow.

Do You Chat Online

**************** Pay Per Post Ad *******************

I have visited a chat room a couple of times. I have a hard time getting it. Maybe I'm just not fast enough to keep up. But I have friends that love to chat . They go to chat rooms often and have made lots of friends. One friend of mine even got a job from someone they met in a chat room.

Do you chat online?

If You Had A Super Power What Would It Be

If I had a super power it would be the ability to travel through time. I think it would be cool to be able to move forward and back in time. You could experience about anything! I would for sure travel back to ride in a covered wagon and then travel forward to ride in a hover craft or something crazy like that. I would also want to travel back to see a dinosaur and then travel forward to see if any animals are left in the future. You could find out all kinds of things if you could travel through time. That would rock!

So what super power would you have?

Who Needs A Coach

****************This is a Pay Per Post Post**********************

I guess there are some people out there that need a life coach. Maybe something is going on in their life that is a challenge. I suppose that it would be possible for a life coach to provide benefits. I have a hard time understanding that concept. I don't think I would feel comfortable with such a thing but I know that some people do. The concept is actually a good one and if someone does need that support I think there should be the option.

Here is an example of a bio of a coach. Someone or some program that mentors clients to internally define and take ownership of a fundamental principle. Asking the question do you have the Will to try, the Faith to believe and the Focus to make the extra effort to succeed in your life?

For more information about life coaching you can contact ActionCoaching@gmail.com or you can call 888-847-7052.

Who Has Been Locked Out

**********This is a Pay Per Post Ad**********

I've locked myself out of my house on several occasions. Once I had to crawl in a window. NO fun there! I've also been known to store keys all over the place for just such an occasion but that is also a pain. What I really need is a biometric door lock . That is a very super cool high tech finger print door lock! How amazing is that. You see those in movies all the time but I had no idea that people could actually get them. But you can.

I checked them out and found my favorite one. Here is the picture of it.
I can't afford it obviously but they aren't nearly as expensive as I thought something like that would be. I'm saving my pennies but if I had the extra money I think it would be a really neat thing to have. You would never have to worry about having your key. But most importantly you would never have to worry about someone else having your keys.

That's what is creepy to me. If you forget or lose your keys somewhere you pretty much have to get new locks if you don't want to be worried forever that someone is gonna come in your house. With this you wouldn't have to worry. All you need is your fingerprint. Pretty handy! So if you want a fancy hi tech biometric door lock go check them out.

Have You Had Any Winter Weather Yet?

Today was the first day of any real winter weather here. We got a lot of sleet! And it's supposed to snow tonight. So I'm sure the roads will be great tomorrow. I don't mind the winter weather. Well I mind it when I'm driving but that's the only time. The snow and cold is okay with me. My dog Lena however is not a fan of winter. Today she didn't want to go outside. Then after she made the pee pee she started jumping on the patio door trying to open it. She really didn't want to stay out there! I guess sleet is no friend to the puppies...

So have you had any winter weather yet?

How Do You Relax

My favorite way to relax is to spend time working in my flower beds if it is nice outside. If it's this time of year and the flower beds are done then I relax by reading a good book or watching a movie.

How do you relax?

What Is Your Favorite Smell

My favorite smell is rain! I love the fresh clean smell. I have a nose for rain too. I swear I can smell it a day away. I can just smell the rain coming in. I love that. I also really like the smell of clean sheets. I love getting in the bed when the sheets have that crisp clean smell. What would be perfect is clean sheets on a rainy day! That would be a little bit of heaven for me!

What is your favorite smell?

Do You Have A Real Christmas Tree

I've always had real Christmas trees. I love them. I love the hunt for the right tree, I love the way they look, I love the way they smell. I just love real trees! However for the first time ever I have a fake tree this year. It's a little sad to me. While it is very pretty it's just not the same. But I just knew that my little dog Lena would cause big problems with a real tree. So fake it is!

Do you have a real Christmas tree?

Who Was Your Neighbor Growing Up

My coolest neighbors growing up were Grandma and Grandpa Marks as I called them. They weren't really my grandparents but they looked like grandparents to that's what I called them and they loved it. They were great neighbors. I would go over to visit and they of course gave me too much candy! Grandpa Marks was quite the photographer and he taught me so much about cameras! I love that. Every once in awhile I see old cameras like his at antique stores. Someday I'm gonna get one to remember him by. Grandma Marks would have tea parties with me and she always let me help her wrap her Christmas gifts which was a blast for me. I loved wrapping. They were really great people and amazing neighbors. I lucked out.

Do You Eat Seafood

I do eat seafood. However, I'm pretty dang picky about it. My Dad lived in Boston for awhile and I got spoiled on good seafood. You can get awesome seafood cheap on the wharf. Way better than anything you would pay a small fortune for at a restaurant here. So now that I'm a seafood brat I can't stand places like Red Lobster. It's overpriced and not that good in my opinion.

So do you eat seafood?

What Did You Learn This Week

This week I learned that you should not leave your dog unsupervised with wrapped Christmas gifts. She will unwrap them for you and you will have to wrap them again and that is not fun!

What did you learn this week?

Also tomorrow is Sunday which means you pick the question! Leave one in the comments and I'll get to it.

Where Do You Never Want To Visit Again

I never ever ever want to visit Yuma Arizona again! I know that some of my readers are from Yuma. Semper Fi! I love the Marines but I don't love Arizona. It's way hot there. And I don't care that it is a dry heat. There is no comfort in dry when it is 115 degrees. And the sand... YUCK! And the lack of grass makes me sad. I need color... Not sand... So that is the place I never want to visit again...

Where do you never want to visit again?

Do You Watch Nip/Tuck

Okay my sister and I have recently started watching Nip/Tuck. We used to watch it every once in awhile. But this season we have been watching every episode. I don't know why we like it. In fact sometimes I think we are more horrified by it and somehow we just get hooked in. It's just an odd show... I like it and I hate it. Go figure.

So do you watch Nip/Tuck?

Can You Speak More Than One Language

I can't speak more than one language. I have attempted to learn German and Spanish. I took German for one year in high school and Spanish for two. I actually know more German than I do Spanish. I try really hard to learn languages but I am really not good at it. However, I am determined to learn Spanish before I'm 50! That is my goal. I would really like to be able to speak Spanish.

So can you speak more than one language?

What Is Your Nickname

So what is your nickname?

Are You A Good Singer

No I'm not a good singer! In fact I can't sing at all! Well actually I can sing but I should not ever ever sing. The only place I do sing is church and the only reason I do that is because I know God will forgive my sorry voice. I do on occasion accidentally sing along to the radio when others are present. But it never lasts long, usually someone tells me to shut up or they throw something at me.

So are you a good singer?

What Is The Best Practical Joke You Have Ever Played On Someone

The best practical joke I've ever played was when I totally got Darby's mom Donna. She was the Administrative Assistant at our office. So I went to the office late one night and completely covered her desk in post-it-notes. I mean everything was covered, the phone, the desk, the chair, the computer. You could only see yellow post-its! It was pretty funny!

So what is the best practical joke you have ever played on someone?

Also tomorrow is Sunday so leave your questions for me in the comments section and I'll answer them!

Do You Like The New Look

Would You Go Skinny Dipping

I would totally go skinny dipping depending on who I was dipping with! In fact I've done it before I'm sure I'll do it again. That's why I would love to have my own pool. Then i could skinny dip anytime I wanted. That time I did it at the rec center I got in BIG trouble. I guess that's not allowed or something... I don't understand that....

So would you go skinny dipping?

What Is The First Paragraph On The 57th Page Of The Book You are Reading

I am reading the book 90 Minutes in Heaven written by Don Piper. The first paragraph on the 57th page of this book reads....

"On the night I entered Hermann Trauma Center, I was in surgery for eleven hours. During that operation, I had the broken bone in my right leg set. My left forearm had to be stabilized because two inches of each bone were missing. My left leg was put into traction because four and a half inches of femur were missing. During the operation, an air tube was mistakenly inserted into my stomach. This caused my stomach to inflate and my lungs to deflate. It would be several days before they discovered this was the cause of swelling in my stomach. Further complicating my breathing, I was unable to be elevated, and I developed pneumonia. I nearly died a second time. "

It's a pretty good book. You ought to check it out.

So what is the first paragraph on the 57th page of the book you are reading?

What Are You Doing For Thanksgiving

This question comes courtesy of Debbie. Debbie is my sister-in-law Amanda's mom. What is very funny about this question is that I'm actually spending Thanksgiving with Debbie. I guess Amanda forgot to tell her that Heather and I are coming to Indiana for Turkey Day.

We are actually going to be at Shawn and Amanda's house Tuesday-Thursday for the holiday. Then we are heading to Tulsa for Thanksgiving with my mom's family. So we will be spending quite a bit of time on the road but we are looking forward to seeing everyone!

What are you doing for Thanksgiving?

Have You Started Christmas Shopping Yet?

I have started Christmas shopping. In fact I am pretty much done Christmas shopping. I have a few little things to pick up yet but for the most part I'm done. I hate shopping when it's all crowded and I hate being broke. So I try to spread the spending out.

So have you started Christmas shopping yet?

Would You Agree To An Arranged Marriage?

I would totally agree to an arranged marriage. In fact I think my family and friends need to find the guy, interview him, interrogate him, do whatever they want, plan the wedding, pick my outfit, and I'll just show up! I'm so fed up with this "dating" crap! I'm fed up with trying to meet people and make "connections". It's CRAP! So please please please someone arrange the marriage.

Would you agree to an arranged marriage?

What Is The Best Costume That You Saw Today?

I think the best costume that I saw today was a little Lion boy named Caden! He was adorable! His costume was great and he was the nicest lion I have ever met. His roar wasn't even scary, though he tried real hard to make it that way.

I really didn't have many people come by for candy. I need to live in a more kid friendly neighborhood. I did see a grim reaper walking across the Wal-Mart parking lot today and that made me laugh.

So what is the best costume that you saw today?

What Are You Really Horrible At?

I'm totally horrible at riding a bike. I seriously had training wheels till I was like 12. No lie! I had the training wheels and finally my dad said I had to take them off. That I couldn't have them anymore. So we took them off and then I just wrecked my bike all the time. And then I quit riding it because I was sick of falling off the stupid thing or running into things.

A couple years ago I tried to ride a bike again and it was still all bad. Falling over and embarrassment. I can do without it! What's crazy though is I love bikes. I'm always fascinated by them. I think they are pretty. Other people have pretty bikes and I always want one. Then I try and about kill myself. So I don't think I should try a bike again anytime soon.

So what are you really horrible at?

Do You Dress Up For Halloween

MeowKat left this question for me in the comments yesterday. And the answer is a very excited YES!!!! I love Halloween for many reasons but the #1 reason is that it is the one day out of the year that you can be anything you want and no one judges you. Wanna be a pregnant nun it's okay, a street walker super! If you wanna dress up as a clown or a witch it's just fun. So yes I will be dressing up for Halloween and this year I will be a lady bug. I'm the momma lady bug and Miss Lena my puppy will be dressing as a baby lady bug. She is not as excited about Halloween costumes as I am but I'm sure it will be great fun!

So do you dress up for Halloween and if so what are you going to be?

Have You Made Your Peace Globe Yet?

Mimi over at Mimi Writes has started this great project focusing on World Peace. Her link is on the right hand side of your screen. Please go visit and make a peace globe! This is a great campaign that debuts on November 7th, which is election day and it also would have been my mom's 57th birthday. So get on it and let's make peace!

What Have You Done Today?

Today I had a garage. I got up at 4:30 to get ready and I'm worn out! But I made 300 bucks so it's worth it. That will pay off a credit card so that makes me a happy girl. Not to mention I got rid of a lot of stuff. That is always a good thing! This evening my dog ate some pumpkin potpourri things when I wasn't watching so I've been cleaning up dog puke for the past 15 minutes. It looks disgusting but at least it doesn't smell bad. Fun times around here... :-)

So what have you done today?

Don't forget tomorrow is Sunday so feel free to leave a question in the comments and I'll answer it. Hope you are having a great weekend!

Who Is Your Favorite Disney Movie

My favorite has to be Monsters, Inc. I thought it was great fun! Mike Wozowski cracks me up and Sully is too cute. I also really like Finding Nemo. My sister is a huge fan of the Little Mermaid. And my mom totally loved Toy Story one and two.

What is your favorite disney movie?

What is Your Favorite Outfit

My favorite thing to wear would have to be my Old Navy Fleece Pullover and Fleece PJ pants. I love it! It's so not cute or becoming but it is way comfy and warm and safe. When I don't feel good that is the first thing I put on. Makes me feel better every time.

So what is your favorite outfit?

What Do You Fear Losing The Most

This question comes courtesy of Cricket. And I have two things that I fear losing the most. They are tied so closely that I don't know which I fear the most so I'll tell ya both of them. One would be my self-respect. I would hate to lose that! And the other would be my entire family. I fear like a huge freak accident that would wipe out my entire family and leave me very alone. So losing all of them or my self respect would be the worst!

What do you fear losing the most?

Thanks also for all the great comments. I've had many new visitors lately and I sure appreciate the interaction. I so enjoying getting a chance to know my readers better!!!

What Is The Dumbest Movie You Have Ever Seen

Okay seriously I watched Syriana tonight and it has to be the dumbest movie I have ever seen! It jumped all over the place and never made sense. It was pretty frustrating. It could have been an awesome movie. They just needed to focus on less story lines and stick with them long enough to make sense...

So what is the dumbest movie you have ever seen?

What Is The Temperature

It's a whole 34 degrees here tonight. The high today was 39! And it poured most of the day. This was the first day of cold here. I kinda like it. I had forgotten how much I love being all bundled up and warm. I have really cute winter clothes! I love that!!!

So what is the temperature where you are at?

Also tomorrow is Sunday so be sure to leave a question if you can think of one and I'll answer it!

What Kind of Toothpaste Do You Use

Today's question comes courtesy of my best friend Darby (Who I will be talking about on XM channel 156 tomorrow with OPRAH). Darby wanted to know what kind of toothpaste I use. I use Crest Cool Mint Gel! Love the stuff. I've used it since I was a little kid and couldn't use anything else. I'm not into the paste, YUCK! I don't like the funky flavors. Who needs all that. I eat food for flavor, I brush my teeth for clean. So Cool Mint Gel is the thing for me.

What kind of toothpaste to you use?

What Is Your Sign

I don't really follow the horoscope thing very regularly. I read it every once in awhile but I don't have to read it. But I do think that my sign is pretty acurate. I'm a Cancer. That's a crab. I think that is funny. Sometimes I'm crabby! Shocking I know!

So what is your sign?

What Are You Allergic To

I am allergic to penicillin, Sulfa and the pill form of Toradol. Crazy huh! I'm expensive when I need an antibiotic. It's not fun! I hate paying a fortune for meds. But it's better than getting hives and having a hard time breathing which is what happens if I take the stuff.

So what are you allergic too?

Do You Like Thunderstorms

I love thunderstorms. There is just something relaxing about hearing pouring rain. I love watching lightening, as long as I'm inside. And thunder is an amazing thing to listen to! I just love storms.

So do you like thunderstorms?

Tomorrow is Sunday which of course means that I answer one of your questions. So feel free to leave me one in the comments.

What Is Hiding In Your Refrigerator

I found a pie in the back of my refrigerator that someone brought when my mom died. So that pie is 6 1/2 weeks old. I believe it may have been Key Lime at one point but now it's a penicillin pie! It was pretty scary looking.

So what is hiding in your refrigerator?

Who Got Tagged Part Two

Okay Julie over at Flip This Body tagged me to do this Halloween Meme a couple days ago and I'm just now getting it done. At least it is before Halloween! Morgan from It's a Blog Eat Blog World created this fun meme so check him out!

1. What's the scariest movie you have ever seen? Hands down it's Birds! That movie scared the heck out of me. Thousands of birds attacking people. Oh no that just didn't work for me. I was scared of birds for years. I'm still not real fond of them!

2. What is your favorite Halloween costume from childhood? I was a present one year. That was kinda fun.

3. If you had an unlimited budget what would your fantasy costume be for this year? I do not know....

4. When was the last time you went trick or treating? 8th grade. It was actually snowing and freezing cold that year. MISERABLE!

5. What's your favorite Halloween Candy? Kit Kats! Love them!!!

6. Tell us about a scary nightmare you have had. I had this nightmare once that I was a little girl, maybe 8 or 9 and my whole family, parents, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles everyone was on a trip somewhere. We were all together and there was this fire. And everyone was stuck in their hotel room. I was the only one that got out and survived and I had no one left to take care of me. Quite a nightmare!

7. What is your supernatural fear? That a ghost will haunt me and do mean things to me...

8. What is your creepy crawlie fear? Snakes, don't like them, don't want them... YUCK!

9. Tell us about a time you saw a ghost or heard something go bump in the night. I went ghost hunting with some friends not to long ago and didn't see a ghost while we were out. But when I got home and developed my pictures I had some pretty odd things on film....

10. Would you ever stay in a real haunted house overnight? Possibly, it would depend who I was with.

11. Are you a traditionalist (just a face) Jack-O-Lantern carver, or do you get really creative with your pumpkins? I get creative with my pumpkins. I like to add some bats or a moon or a cat or something fun.

12. How do you decorate your home for Halloween. I have tons of Fall and Halloween decorations. I don't like scary stuff but love lots of pumpkins, corn shucks, scare crows, hay bales, leaves, etc.

13. What do you want on your tombstone? I just hope that someone can write that I was a pretty good daughter, sister, friend, and hopefully mom...

Okay I'm not tagging anyone. So you are all safe!

Have a Happy Halloween!!!

Who Was Your Favorite Teacher

My favorite teacher was Mrs. McDonald. Mrs. McDonald taught my 8th grade speech class. She also was in charge of the school plays. I was in all the plays at school and loved working with her. She was so much fun! She could talk in amazing accents, was always so animated, and treated all of us like we were the most important people in the world. I loved her!

Mrs. McDonald died in a car accident when I was a junior in high school. It was a weird experience. She was one of the first people that I really felt close to that died. I remember going to her funeral and being so amazed. The service was held in the largest church in town and was still overflowing with people. She touched a lot of her students over the years and really made an impact on people.

So who was your favorite teacher?

Who Was Your First Boyfriend or Girlfriend

My first boyfriend was John Paul VanDalsum. He was so cute! He had dark brown hair, great brown eyes, was tall, athletic, and super nice. One of the nicest guys I have ever known in my whole life. He was my "boyfriend" from about 4th grade thru 8th grade. We stayed friends through high school but I haven't seen him in years. He did get married a couple years ago. I saw the announcement in the local paper. I'm sure he is a wonderful husband. He was just a dang good guy!

So who was your first boyfriend or girlfriend?

What Is Your Dream Vacation

So what is your dream vacation?

What Is Your Favorite Kind of Ice Cream

We were debating this over dessert tonight. There are two types of favorite ice creams in my opinion. The kind of ice cream you buy to have at your house, which then my favorite is Vanilla Bean. And then there is the kind of ice cream that you get when you are out and about like at an ice cream place. So then my favorite is cherry with chocolate chunks.

Tomorrow is Sunday so if you have a question just leave me a comment and I'll answer it.

What is your favorite kind of ice cream?

What's Your Favorite New Show of the Season

My favorite new show this season is Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. I'm so pleased with Matthew Perry! I had missed him so much. I actually am pretty impressed with the whole group on that show. The humor is good, the story is good, the actors are good. I'm just impressed. I think it will hang in and not get dropped anytime soon.

So what is your favorite new show of the season?

How Many Hits Do I Have

Wow I'm closing in on 2000 hits! When I started this blog not that long ago I didn't think that would happen this quickly. I should hit the 2000 mark by the end of the day! That's awesome to me. As I type this I'm at 1992 hits.

So how many hits do I have now.

What Does Your Name Mean?

My name is Jessica. I've been called Jess or Jessie for quite awhile now though. When someone calls me Jessica I'm just sure that I'm in trouble for something... Weird how that works.

But Jessica means "God Sees". I thought that was kind of cool. Here is some other info about Jessica that I found on the good old internet. Jessica was first used in this form by Shakespeare in his play 'The Merchant of Venice', where it belongs to the daughter of Shylock. Shakespeare probably based it on the biblical name (Yiskah), the name of a minor character in Genesis, which meant "YAHWEH beholds" in Hebrew.

I like the biblical spelling and pronunciation of my name. I think it is pretty. Maybe I should start going by that....

So what does your name mean?

Who Do You Call When You Have Something Important To Share

The first two people I call when I have something important to share are my sister Heather and my best friend Darby. And it is never in the same order. Sometimes I call Heather first sometimes Darby. Just depends on what it is I have to tell them and who I know will be available to take the call.

I used to always call my mom first. It's been a hard transition to not be able to call her. That is one of the things I miss the most. And now that a month has passed since she died I thought that would be easier but I caught myself just today thinking "I've got to call mom and tell her this." I don't know that it will ever go away... So whenever that thought crosses my mind I call Heather or Darby and just tell them instead... It's not the same but I'm so grateful I still have those two to call!

So who do you call when you have something important to share?

Where Is Your Favorite Place To Relax

This question comes courtesy of FabreFaction. My favorite place to relax is the zoo. We have a wonderful little zoo here in town. It's not to big but it is really a beautiful and peaceful place. The flowers and landscaping are amazing! I have fond memories of the zoo. My mom would take us there often and I've spent so much time with my God Daughter Bel at the zoo. Whenever I walk in the gates I instantly feel calmer. I associate the zoo with some of my favorite things, my friends, my family, and flowers...

One of the memorial funds when my died was for the zoo. Memorial contributions are still coming in. We are hoping that when it is all totaled we will have enough to purchase a bench in her memory to be placed in the zoo. That way when we visit we can sit on her bench and remember all the times she took us there.

So where is your favorite place to relax?

What Is Your Favorite Kind of Pie

My favorite kind of pie is homemade chocolate pie! It's delicious. Coming in a close second would be key lime pie. It's a bit heavenly....

I forgot to post yesterday so if you want to submit a question for me to answer go ahead and I will answer it on Monday. We will just be a day behind this week...

What is your favorite kind of pie?

What Was Your First Car

My first car was a Ford Tempo. Crazy crappy car! This thing had no radio, the window on the passenger side wouldn't roll down and the driver's side door wouldn't open! So I had to get in and out Duke's of Hazzard style. So since it didn't have a radio by the time I got anywhere I was crying because the only song I knew all the words too was Amazing Grace! Eventually the car caught on fire. Not the whole car but some important parts under the hood. So I sang Amazing Grace one last time and moved on to a different crappy car!

What's Up With Blogger

What in the world is going on with blogger today? Is anyone else having problems. I keep trying to post and it won't let me. It keeps sending me back to the dashboard. I think maybe blogger is tired... Maybe all the posting has worn it out. Or maybe blogger is possessed by a little blogger demon... Maybe blogger is sick... Or what if blogger has been taken over by aliens...

So do you know what's wrong with blogger?

What Is Your Favorite Flower

My favorite flower is the tulip. Whenever I see tulips I just feel like things are new and clean. Tulips are the first to arrive in the spring and just kinda welcome the new season. I love that. At my old house I had huge yellow tulips with a beautiful red center. I'm going to miss them! I'm going to have to look around for some more to plant at the new house.

What is your favorite flower?

What Is My Favorite Movie

Debbie asked what my favorite movie is. Butterfly Effect is my all time favorite movie! I love this movie. I've probably watched it 25 times. What I love about this movie is that is shows how single events change our lives. How if we change just one thing it alters the course of our lives. Every time I watch it I think about those events that have changed my life.

Being Adopted

Meeting certain people

My sister being born

My parents divorce

Buying my first home

My mom dying

Getting my puppy Lena

All events that have changed things in my life. Without one of those things I would be very different. My life would have played out differently. Would it have been better or worse. We will never know in our own lives. But briefly when we watch Butterfly Effect we can see how certain events change his life... Watch it and think about your own life... What would be different?

What Movie Have I Been Meaning Watch

Isokesa left this question for me today. We all have that running list in our head of movies or books we are going to watch or read but haven't got to yet. I have piles of books and a queue a mile long on my Netflix account. But right now the movie that I really want to see but haven't got to yet is The Aviator. I have had it sitting on my entertainment center for quite awhile and just haven't watched it. I think I'm going to do that this evening....

So what movie have you been meaning to watch but haven't gotten around to yet?

What Is Your Favorite Holiday

My favorite holiday is fast approaching. In fact it is today... Just kidding. But today is Rosh Hashanah. So if I was Jewish it may be my favorite holiday. But I'm not so my favorite holiday is actually Halloween. I just think it is a blast!

The dressing up, the candy, the kids all over the place, the fact that it is crisp and cool, the pumpkins! I just love it!!! I have so many Halloween decorations and I always get a HUGE pumpkin. Like at least 100 pounds. I just love pumpkins! So I'm psyched. Once October 1st rolls around I start putting out the decorations. Fun times ahead!

So what is your favorite holiday?

Also tomorrow is Sunday which means I answer your questions. So if you have one just post it and I'll get to it. If there is more than one I will just answer them throughout the week. Have a good one!

Who's Been Tagged

I have been tagged by Julie over at Flip this Body. She tagged me a couple days ago and I've been sick and haven't blogged. So now that I'm feeling a little better here goes...

1. One book that changed your life- hardest question first.

To Kill a Mocking Bird. I've been an avid reader all my life and I was pretty young when I read this book for the first time. It was the first book that allowed me to escape. I felt like I was a part of this book as I was reading. It covered so many different experiences and depths of emotion that I couldn't help but feel changed and a part of.

2. One Book That You've Read More Than Once.

What Looks Like Crazy On An Ordinary Day. This book just always makes me feel better. So I've read it quite a few times.

3. One Book That You'd Want On A Desert Island.

I Know This Much Is True. This is one long book so it would keep me occupied for awhile. It's also really really good!

4. One Book That Made You Laugh.

God Said Ha! Oh my I laughed so hard reading this book! I was actually reading it on an airplane and the people around me were a bit annoyed. It was way funny and I couldn't help but laugh outloud!

5. One Book That Made You Cry.

Tuesdays with Morrie. Enough Said!

6. One Book That You Wish You Had Written.

What Looks Like Crazy On An Ordinary Day. I feel like I could have written that book.

7. One Book You Wish Had Never Been Written.

I can't answer this one... I just can't think of one. I have a lot of books I don't like but I wouldn't want them to not be written. Sorry just don't know about this...

8. One Book That You Are Reading Right Now.

I'm reading Suspicion of Deceit by Barbara Parker.

9. One Book That You Have Been Meaning To Read.

90 Minutes In Heaven. Been trying to work myself up to reading... We will see if that happens soon!

10. Tag five others that you would like to do this meme. Laci, Cactus Freak, Henry, Meowkat, LaughterThoughts.

My favorite meal is meat loaf (my mom's recipe), scalloped potatoes, green beans and rolls! I love that meal!

What is your favorite meal?

What Is The First Thing You Think In The Morning

I actually have two thoughts that run through my head when I first wake up. The first thing is "Today is the day that the Lord hath made, I will rejoice and be glad in it." For some reason that is the first thing that I think when I wake up lately. It's been going on for about a month. It just pops in my head. So I guess that is a good thing.

The other thing I think right after that is "Hurry and get out of bed before Lena pees on the floor." Lena is my puppy who just turned 6 months old. She does a great job with the potty training but I know that mornings are hard for her. She waits all night and then is impatient. So I try to get moving quick so she can get outside.

So what do you think of first thing in the morning?

My Wall

Foxxfyrre's Black and White Art Blog has this cool link exchange thing going on. You can save a wall and then use your paint program to decorate it anyway you want! You email Frank your wall and he links to you. So go check it out. I've added him to my link list so have fun and paint it up!!!

What Are You Afraid Of

I'm horribly afraid of midgets. I know it's crazy. Don't even start leaving me comments about how mean and weird that is. Phobias are not rational folks! So my irrational phobia is that a little person will attack me. They just freak me out!

I'm always worried that they will like head butt me in the knee and then attack me. Their little nubby hands coming close to me just makes my heart race. Seeing a midget makes me panic. There are several that work at Wal-mart here. I've figured out what shifts they work and purposely avoid going there at those times.

At one point MTV True Life wanted me to be on their show "I Have A Phobia". They were gonna pay me $1500 to meet with a therapist and then confront my fears and let them tape it all. I said no way! Confront my fears meant putting me in a room with a hundred midgets and taping me freaking out. There isn't enough money in the world for me to do such a thing.

So what are you afraid of?

On a side note this is my 25th post. It is hard for me to believe that we have answered 25 questions already! So thanks to everyone for answering, asking, and just being a part of the first 25. If you have questions leave them in the comments and I will answer them on Sundays.

Where Were You Born

I was born in a little town in western Kansas called Norton. I think there are only about 3000 people in the whole town. It's pretty little and it's pretty much in the middle of nowhere!

I only stayed in Norton for 10 days! I was adopted and moved to another town in Kansas when I was only 10 days old. I've been back to Norton to visit my birth family but never really officially lived there.

What Actress or Actor Would Play You

If someone made a movie of my life I would for sure have Rosie O'Donnell play me. So many people tell me that my facial expressions are like hers. We have a similar build and a similar sense of humor. I could so see that! I wouldn't be a lesbian, have 4 children, or have a Broadway show that crashed. However, I would be a fat girl with a funny personality...

Who would play you?

What Book Are You Currently Reading

Right now I am reading Suspicion of Deceit by Barbara Parker. It is the third book in her Gail Connor/Anthony Quintana Series and is very good. It's a great legal mystery book which I enjoy. I would recommend the whole series to people. I think there are 8 books total.

So what book are you reading now and why should I read it?

What Is Your Stripper Name?

Okay the way to figure out your stripper name is to take the name of your first pet and combine it with the name of the street you lived on when you were born...

So my stripper name is Lady Union!

I'm pretty ticked about my stripper name. It's not very stripperish... It's way rough and not sexy... however if I was a dominatrix it may be a good name....

So what is your stripper name?

Where Were You On September 11, 2001

I was working at my job at a school. I was in the first grade class room and the principal came to get me. He pulled me out into the hall and took me to the office to tell me. He knew that my Dad lived in Boston and flew often so he wanted me to call and make sure he was okay. I couldn't get ahold of my Dad. All the lines were blocked there from all the calls and I couldn't get a thing. So while I waited I just sat and watched on TV. Eventually I got my younger sister out of her classes and we went home to wait.

Late in the afternoon I was able to reach my dad. He was safe and sound and no where near the airport!

Where were you that day?

If You Were An Animal What Would You Be

I would be a turtle! I just think turtles are the coolest!!! My sister-in-law is terrified of turtles which I just don't understand. But I love them!

The hard shell on the outside, the squishy soft insides. I just think that is how I am. I seem tough and it takes awhile to get to know me but once you get inside the shell I'm a real softy!

What animal would you be?

What Is Your Favorite Season

My favorite season is right upon us! I love Fall!!! I love the colors, the smells, the temperature... I just think it is beautiful. I like the fact that you can be outside in the fall and not get hot. You can wear a long sleeve tee or a light jacket and be comfy. You can go on a walk or work in the yard and not sweat buckets which is a welcome relief after a Kansas summer. So I'm counting down the days until Fall officially arrives!

What is your favorite season?

If You Could Be A Politician Active in Today's World Who Would You Be

I would be John McCain! I have a great deal of respect and admiration for Senator John McCain. While I'm sure many would disagree with me I think he will make a great president one day. Yes you read that right. I do think he will be our president in the not so distant future!

Some info about John McCain:

He is a U.S Senator for Arizona

Chairman of the Senate comittee on Indian Affairs

Serves on the Armed Services, Transportation, Commerce and Science Committes

He is the author of 6 books, several of which are bestsellers

He is dang good looking

No Questions Today

I know I said I wasn't going to post today but I just feel very moved to do so. First I wanted to show you all this beautiful picture that we had done just the other day. It's my sister and I holding my mom's hand. We have said all along that the only things that have stayed the same about our mom are her heart and her hands so this is very meaningful to us.

Also I must say thank you to Julie from Flip this Body and Bobby from The Bestest Blog. They have both posted beautiful sentiments about my mom and I on their blogs. So I encourage you to visit each of their blogs! They are two of the nicest bloggers I've ever met!!! Not only have they mentioned us but they have set up a way for other bloggers or anyone in general to make donations to the American Cancer Society in my mom's name, Dee Myers. This means so much to my sister and I!

This Friday I will be walking in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life to raise money for a cure. I believe very deeply in ACS and the work they do! In fact the ACS provided my mom with a beautiful wig for free!! So please if you do feel moved to do something visit Bestest Blog to contribute! Again thank you Julie and Bobby!

I am hanging in there fairly well. This whole process has been very traumatic for me. So today is actually a bit of a celebration of some ways. When I woke up this morning I realized that today is my mom's first full day in heaven and that this is her first full day pain free, worry free, and medication free in a long time. That is a blessing to me. I will miss her each day for the rest of my life I have no doubt about that but she fought the hard fight and has found her way home.

What is Irony

Well today is irony! I get bestest blog of the day which is so so cool! And it happens to come on the worst day of my life. That is complete irony. My mom passed away early today. Due to that I will probably not be posting for a couple of days. Again I really appreciate all of your visits and as soon as things calm down I will get back to all of your questions and the regular routine!

Bestest Blog

Well I got an email from Bobby that I'm bestest blog today! That is pretty cool. So welcome to any new visitors from Bestest Blog! It's nice to have ya.

Thanks to everyone for the nice comments and for the visits. I hope you will come back. Tomorrow is Sunday which means that you all get to pick the question of the day. So go ahead and leave one in the comments section and I'll get ya an answer tomorrow.

If You Were Invisible Where Would You Go

If I was invisible I would go into the kitchens at all my favorite restaurants. Every time I go to eat somewhere I wonder what they look like. I wonder about a lot of things. Mainly if they are clean or dirty, how many bugs there are, if the cook is weird, if anyone is spitting in my food, or if they actually leave the butter off when I ask them too.

I also wonder what in the heck they do back there at takes so long. It seems like it takes forever to get food sometimes. I really think that maybe they lose the order or play a hand of cards or something before they cook my food. I don't get it. So I would for sure be in the back checking everything out if I was invisible.

Where would you go if you were invisible?

What's your favorite color

This is an easy one but I'm worn out tonight so it has to be an easy one. Green! I love green. All shades of green really. I like lime green and I love deep dark green.

What's your favorite color?

Who Is Your Favorite Celebrity

My favorite celebrity is Denzel Washington! In fact I kinda live by this little saying called What Would Denzel Do. It's a weird thing I do but I'll share it with you as best I can....

I'm sure you have all heard the saying "What would Jesus Do." Well if you read the bible and see the 10 commandments it's real easy to see what Jesus would do. So now I ask myself "What would Denzel do?" Denzel Washington is fine fine fine and when you watch his movies it's real easy to see what he would do. He always has a job, takes care of his kids, never hits a woman, is educated, and believes in God. So now when I meet a man and watch how he acts in the world I gauge it to Denzel. If Denzel wouldn't act that way then no man of mine will either.

It's not asking for a lot really and it's not that hard do what Denzel does. I just don't want a man I want a whole man. I want someone that brings a whole complete person to a union with me. I want a man that isn't broken and can make it in the world fine without me. So when I get sick of looking at broken men and start to feel myself settling for less I pop in a Denzel movie and remind myself "What Would Denzel Do".

So that is why Denzel is my favorite! Who is your favorite celebrity and why?

Where is your favorite vacation destination?

My favorite vacation destination is Las Vegas! I have been to Vegas a couple of times now and just really love to vacation there. I'm not so big on gambling which is odd I know. But I love the fact that there is such a variety of activities in Vegas. You can hit M&M World and get some free treats and maybe shake it with the yellow M&M or you can take in a Cirque De Soleil show! I love Cirque De Soleil!!! Fascinating. You can visit Hoover Dam or a showing of Thunder from Down Under! I've seen the Titanic Exhibit in Vegas as well as the Monet's at the Bellagio Museum. Which goes to show that Vegas is not only entertaining but also educational... :-)

I think it is also important to note that there are numerous free activities in Vegas! We all love free. Fremont Street puts on some awesome free shows and a great light display after dark. Not to mention that almost every hotel on the strip offers some free activity or event. You just have to wander around and find them. It doesn't matter if you have a lot of money or a little you can find some cool stuff to do. So Vegas is where I love to go! There is something for everyone!!!

Where do you all like to visit?

Who Makes You Laugh The Most?

My mom makes me laugh the most. She has to be the funniest person I know. She tells hilarious jokes which is great. But most of all her physical humor is the BEST! She does great impressions! In fact one time in Branson she was doing her impression of Edith Ann from Saturday Night Live and people actually thought it was a show! They didn't know she was just a fool being funny. They almost paid her!!! She also does a great impression of the Raptor dinosaurs in Jurassic Park. Complete with jumping up on the table. Very very funny gal!!!

So who makes you laugh the most? Also on Sunday's I'm gonna answer one of your questions. So if you have one leave it in the comments and I'll answer it tomorrow.

What Is Your Most Prized Possession?

My most prized possession is my camera! I don't think I could live without it. In fact I have two cameras. One amazing camera and then one good digital. While they are great cameras I would be happy with just a simple camera. As long as I can take pictures I'm a pretty happy girl.

Thanks again to all that have left comments. It was fun reading about your first memories. So what is your most prized possession?

What Is Your First Memory

I have two memories from about the same time period. I'm not sure which one is first so I'll have to tell you both of them.

I was probably 3 or 4 and one of the memories is of my Dad and I. He went to work really early in the morning and I would try to get up to see him before he left. Sometimes I would sit with him while he ate breakfast and then go back to bed. But every single morning when I woke up at my usual time, long after he had gone to work I would find a little debbie snack on my nightstand. He would put it in a little orange tupperware cup and leave it for me. Nothing like chocolate for breakfast!

My other memory is of my Mom and I. My mom would have tea parties with me. She would pretend to be Hazel and I would pretend to be Gertrude. We would drink orange juice (tea) and eat crackers. She would always talk with a funny accent and inevitably at the end of each tea party klutzy Hazel would fall into the toy box. It always made me laugh!

So what is your first memory?

When Were You Born

I was born on June 30th, 1980! It was a hot day from what I've been told. While me being born was a pretty big deal to some people a lot of other things were happening in the world then. Here are just a few of the highlights!

Ronald Reagan was elected president

John Lennon died

Gas was about $1.20 a gallon

The Phillies won the world series

Funky Town was playing on the radio

Cole Miner's Daughter was the movie to see

So now it's your turn! When were you born and what is one thing that happened in that year?

The Beginning

The whole reason I'm starting this blog is because I feel lost. I thought my life was clearly defined. I thought I knew where I was going and what I was doing. I thought I really knew who I was and what I wanted out of life.

That changed. Something happened that I'm not going into here. It's written elsewhere. But it happened. It changed me. And I'm lost now.

So I have to find myself somewhere. I have to redefine myself. I have to figure out who I am and what makes me well ME! So while I'm doing that why don't we all do that. Why don't we take a little journey together and figure some things out....

I'm gonna try each day to post a question and answer it. Just a simple question each day. I'm gonna answer it. Simple! Maybe if I ask and answer enough questions I'll get to know me. That's my part.

Your part is fun! What you all get to do is answer the questions too. But even better you get to pick the questions sometimes. Not all the time but sometimes. I'll do my best to answer your questions. So leave comments, ask questions, and let's have some fun!!!
