I've always had real Christmas trees. I love them. I love the hunt for the right tree, I love the way they look, I love the way they smell. I just love real trees! However for the first time ever I have a fake tree this year. It's a little sad to me. While it is very pretty it's just not the same. But I just knew that my little dog Lena would cause big problems with a real tree. So fake it is!

i've never had a real one
we had fake ones for my entire life. now my mom has gotten on to a real tree kick... only its now gone from real xmas trees to real bushes that look like xmas trees that can later be replanted.
bushes suck at holding up xmas ornaments. the branches have no strenght.
We had real trees when i was a kid & I'd rather have a real one now because i love the smell of pine.But since i became an adult and more environmentaly aware, we have a fake one.
We always had a real christmas tree at my partents place as long as I can remember! And my sister and I decorated it with candles and red and silver christmas decoration and at the distribution of christmas presents (which is at the 24.12. in the evening in Germany) the room was illuminated by the candles and a perfect dream.
Fake, real ones will kill me.
