Where Do You Never Want To Visit Again

I never ever ever want to visit Yuma Arizona again! I know that some of my readers are from Yuma. Semper Fi! I love the Marines but I don't love Arizona. It's way hot there. And I don't care that it is a dry heat. There is no comfort in dry when it is 115 degrees. And the sand... YUCK! And the lack of grass makes me sad. I need color... Not sand... So that is the place I never want to visit again...

Where do you never want to visit again?

You know, that's really weird coz the only place on earth that i REALLY want to visit is the Arizona dessert [being a cactus nut 'n all] and here you are saying all that! lol

I don't think i've been anywhere i would never want to go to again. I can't think of any place anyway.

I understand your distaste for Yuma, but I live in Phoenix, and although it gets so hot in the summer I feel like I'm in a furnace (I still refuse to use the car's air conditioning, I like the windows open, is that insane, yes!), I still like it here! The desert is beautiful, lots of mountains and pretty things, not to mention scorpions and rattlesnakes...

It was a road in South Carolina from a vacation 2 summers ago. It was 4th of July weekend and we couldn't find a motel anywhere near the coast, so we decided to drive through the night.

We ended up on the God-forsaken back road. The kind that would be perfect for a horror movie. The kind where an innocent couple is driving along and all of a sudden...!

It was SO dark! We passed the usual Deer Crossing sign.. then there was one for Wild Boars. Then there was one Watch For BEARS! The whole time I'm praying the car doesn't break down or get a flat tire.

Well I have to comment, I LOVE YUMA. I lived there for 20 years and should have never moved. Would move back in a heartbeat. I would take the dessert sand and the cactus over the snow anyday.

Where would I not do probally Death Valley at least in the summer (that's when I was there before) maybe it is better in a different season.

To cactusfreek I love cactus too
I have decorated my basement with southwest items mostly cactus and love it. That way I can go in the basement in the middle of winter I think I am in Arizona and try to forget that there is white stuff on the ground here.

Gadsden, Alabama

bad experience with a friend's friend . . two people not acting age appropriate in a sea of others doing the same.

it's probably a fine place actually, just bad vibes make me want to stay away.
