I have never been to Dubai but I guess it's a pretty hot place. Not just temperature hot but things are happening there kinda hot. There are some beautiful man made islands there and lots of other interesting property in Dubai. Something I think is pretty awesome about Dubai is that fact that they have virtually no income tax! I love that!!! I'm working on my taxes now and it's making me very unhappy. Dubai may be the place to go... I could handle living on an island...

I loved Dubai! I went a couple of years ago towards the middle of January, during this huge shopping fair. There was literally a booth from every country in the world. It was incredible. I give Dubai 2 thumbs up!
I've never been there, but I've heard it's beautiful. I had a co-worker from there, and he's shown me pictures. Almost like an oasis in the desert.
I have been in Dubai for 4 months (2 to go). It is worth a visit. around 80% on inhabitants are ex pats from India, pakistan, UK, NZ and many more countries (but these are the main ones). It is a very green city, some what surprising as it is in a desert, this is because of the irrigation!
At the moment it is one big construction site.
There is so much to do, you can never be bored!!!! i was also fortunate to be here over dubai shopping festival, but the prices were not mega cheap as you would expect from a tax free country!
