How Much Is A Gallon of Gas

Today I had to fill up my car and gas is now $2.09 here in good old Kansas. That is actually lower than it was 6 months ago but higher than last week. Last week I filled up for $1.98 a gallon. I hate that it fluctuates so much. I'm grateful it is below $2.50 but I'd really like for it to stay below $2.00. I don't know how realistic that is but it would sure be nice. What I'd really like is to have a car that doesn't need gas. That would make me really happy. Sometimes I think my next car ought to be a hybrid....

So how much is a gallon of gas in your area?

I think it was 2.09 today too when I filled up. I remember when it was 45 cents!

You're going to hate me. Didn't see gas prices recently, but last weekend it was $1.95.

I hope it went down even more.

I saw it as low $1.98 today in Texas, and as high as $2.09. Go figure.

I found you by way of skittles! So thought I'd say hello!

At last you american have a low price of gas after all! This is nothing like in Norway, Europe. $1,8 pr litre (1 gallon = 3.78 litres). If the american price will raise (taxes on gas), you will probably drive less in your car. Smart for our futhure generations!

here in the United Kingdom, it is almost one pound (british pound) for one litre....... criminal, the government takes almost a quarter of that pound in tax alone....
