My first car was a Ford Tempo. Crazy crappy car! This thing had no radio, the window on the passenger side wouldn't roll down and the driver's side door wouldn't open! So I had to get in and out Duke's of Hazzard style. So since it didn't have a radio by the time I got anywhere I was crying because the only song I knew all the words too was Amazing Grace! Eventually the car caught on fire. Not the whole car but some important parts under the hood. So I sang Amazing Grace one last time and moved on to a different crappy car!
What was your first car?

I don't have a car yet. When I learn to drive, I'll get and Audi A4 or a CLK convertible... I know, I'm dreaming, right?
I got an AMC Pacer for $100. Just like this...

It was blue with the big bubble windows. There were holes in the floorboards and you could see the road whiz by under your feet while you drove. It also didn't start, ever, so I carried jumper cables around with me and had to beg strangers for a jump. Those were the days... :)
1967 Chevelle. She was my baby.
I am 27 and never owned a car. I didn't drive in high school. Then I went to college in Manhattan and now I'm in Boston; never really needed to drive in these cities. I have a license but have never driven without my dad spotting me in the passenger seat. So I'm scared of driving.
My first car was a Ford Tempo too!!! It was fire-engine red and used, but not in bad shape. It stayed with me through Soph, Junior and Senior years of college and it served me quite well. Then at graduation, I upgraded to my Ford Focus and I never looked back. :-)
