Where Were You Born

I was born in a little town in western Kansas called Norton. I think there are only about 3000 people in the whole town. It's pretty little and it's pretty much in the middle of nowhere!

I only stayed in Norton for 10 days! I was adopted and moved to another town in Kansas when I was only 10 days old. I've been back to Norton to visit my birth family but never really officially lived there.

Where were you born?

Skokie, Illinois. Our town was the subject of a made-for-tv movie in the 80s, (aptly named, "Skokie" -- never seen it though...I wonder if Netflix has it...) about the time the Nazis tried to march and protest there and we ran them out of town. See, Skokie has the largest population of Holocaust survivors in the USA. So it was a BIG deal when it happened.

I was born in Lower Hutt, New Zealand. Don't know what hospital, but it was black Friday 13th,ward 13 and there were 13 babies born in that ward that night. We made the front page of course!!
Mum stayed friends with some of the parents, but as you might imagine, planning the kids birthday parties got complicated lol

Peekskill NY. My parents lived there shortly. It is the same town and hospital that Mel Gibson was born in. Then we moved to KY when I was very young.

Scranton, PA. Home of the Emmy-award-winning comedy series "The Office"! That definitely put us on the map!
