I don't usually like the beach. It seems like a dirty place to me. I know that trash gets dumped in the water and you know there are some people peeing in the ocean. That's not cool. So I don't particularly like to get in the water or hang out at the beach. But today it wasn't too bad. I didn't freak out about the dirty water. I actually got my feet wet! Amazing I know.
So do you like the beach?

I like being at the beach to look at the water but I usually won't go into the water - I'm a bit of a germ-o-phobe and well, you know...
I like the beach but am deathly afraid of the ocean. Not the germs, but the ocean itself. Scary stuff in there!

I like the beach but primarily for the sound of wind and waves. It also depends on the beach locale! Which beach did you visit?
Well, duh! I just read a couple post back and see that you most likely were at the Gulf, which, I agree, can be pretty nasty thanks to folks that have no common sense to throw trash away and to oil spills. (I'm in Tx too).
: )
I LOVE the beach. I love the beach for numerous reasons. The first is the therapeutic sound of the waves pounding. It is the best way to fall asleep and the nicest way to wake up in the morning. The smell of the ocean water in the morning and the mist which can hover over a town.
I love surfing in the water too. However, I find that the water is often cold and as such need to wear a wet suit.
The surf is always a bit of a battle to get behind the break. And you get knocked off your board, and it is only you out there on your own. But let me tell you it is the sweetest sense of defeat and success wrapped into one.
singaporeI absolutely love the beach, but can't stand the awful crowds we get in Summer.
In India, beaches r filthy. The city beaches at least. Unless u go outta the city.. its awesome there..
I grew up near the beach in Florida. I liked it a lot until Jaws came out.. but then we moved to Michigan and all was well.
When we go down there now for a visit, I always wait until I can smell the salt water in the air.. and then I know I'm home.
wow who dont luv the beach... so dreamy
If it's a warm beach, like Maui, yes!
