What Is Your Favorite Instrument

I love the piano. I can't play the piano but I'm fascinated by people that can. I always wanted to learn to play the piano when I was a kid. But my dad always said my fingers were to short and fat to play the piano. So I've decided that I'm going to take piano lessons now. Well not now as in tonight but now as in soon. I know a lady that teaches piano. Mainly she teaches kids but she says she will give me lessons. I think it would be cool to learn to play. So that's going to be my Christmas gift to myself.

So what is your favorite instrument and can you play it?

Definitely the piano. I took lessons as a kid and hated it - now I wish my mom had just been mean enough to force me to keep up with it.

My favorite instrument is the computer, because you can do so much. You can even write symphonies. My favorite normal instrument is the lute.

I want to learn how to play the piano too, and the guitar. I can play the violin, but not all that well. I'm kind of tone deaf... and the violin is not a good instrument to play when you're tone deaf.

I can't play an instrument, but I wish I had learned to play the piano when I was younger.I missed out.

My favorite instrument is the French Horn. I don't play it buy my sister does and she is VERY good.

I used to be a musician in another life. I even majored in it in college. I started on clarinet, added saxophone, viola and eventually bassoon. I took a little bit of piano in college, so I can pick around on a keyboard, but that's about it. My favorite instrument, though, is the acoustic guitar. One day I'm going to buy one and learn to play.

I love the drums. I love how they make your chest beat when you go to a concert. You can feel them.

I used to play the organ, but have not done so in 10 years! Not sure if I could still play "Raindrops keep falling on my head" now because that was my last song..

Favourite instrument is anything stringed - guitar, violin, cello etc. Percussion runs a close second. I can't play anything except keep time on a djembe.

Good for you for pursuing that dream!

I tried for years to learn to read music when I was a kid. Missing the musical gene or something, I guess. Can't play a thing, but I was given an ukelele a year or so ago and am still trying to work up my nerve to tackle a few chords!

I've always had a thing for drummers. Oh wait, that's taste in guys not in musical instruments. LOL
I always wanted to learn to play the guitar, I have one but I can't play it! I played the viola in elementary school, but I couldn't play a note now if you put one in my hand. I've become highly untalented.
